Qyax Computation

DA 01 Rettik Faar Attack Destroyer

Scale: Fleet (very nominally 1:10000th)

2 starships supplied.

Size (Bounding Box): 59.78mm x 11.28mm x 13.97mm

A no-frills, generalist escort, the DA 01 Rettik Faar (lit. “sharpshooter”) is often seen in formations with heavier ships like the Sutroq or Sookat Natii Drav, providing heavier support for light formations with Zontoqs or acting in small packs alone.

Two VN001770 engines give it an acceleration of 16.6mc and an excellent manoeuvrability profile of 182 MEUs. Combined with 800TXq shields, these make it evasive and durable for a small capital ship.

The Rettik Faar is built on the standard Qyax paradigm, centred around the spinal mount beam, which has an accuracy envelope of around 400 000km and an output energy of 1052TXq. Supplementing this are a pair of XF-2 railgun turrets and two point-defence batteries with a combined output of 980TXq.

This weapon mix makes it optimised – like most of the ships of the line in the Qyax fleet – for head-on engagements, with limited fire outside of this arc. However, with the high manoeuvrability of Qyax ships, actually taking advantage of the blind spots is somewhat more difficult.
