Kilkami Game Boards and Open Field

This PDF shares the many Game Boards and Open Field with players! Home Boards are the playing board each player begins playing. Pieces will transfer from their Home Board onto a shared Open Field (an octagonal board that 8 Home Boards can hook up with) and then march onto an opponent’s Board to try and take their castle.
Board Effects do not need to be applied unless both players want to use them.
These Home Boards are taken from the Novel series with Board Effects drawn out from the Novel content. Mroe details are shared inside, but here's a taste of Play-Set Rules for Game Boards!
Generic Home Board Effects (what will be common among all Home Boards):
• Board Effects activate every ten complete turns (where each player has played ten turns, made ten moves)
o That Board’s Effect is active to any piece sitting on and starting from one of the board’s revealed squares for the duration of the 11th Turn
o A Board Counter can be used to register turns taken, or turns can be counted on paper or in a person’s head
o Players must agree to the method of registering turns before game play begins.
• Each Board Effect is considered to each piece on each particular board in turn, each player counting immunity and damage (hits) taken for their own pieces
• Pieces destroyed (their last hit just given) are removed from play at this time
• Game play resumes
