The Varanus Komodoensis is named for the Komodo Dragon. The moniker is appropriate, and the Komodoensis is appreciably more massive than the first four configurations. Indeed, only the addition of four point-defence blisters on the forward module hardpoints differentiate the front two-thirds of the vessel from its smaller counterpart.
